Its hard to believe Little Man is 10 weeks old already. Yesterday was my first day back to work. The baby sitter said he did great, I wanted to cry all day. I took a small album of pictures for everyone to look at and they all thought he was precious. One of the surgeons said they were all taking bets if I was coming back or not. I told him it was hard to leave my baby boy when I kissed him bye those big baby blue eyes looked right at me. Praise the Lord for Gran she is coming to my house every .morning to take him to the babysitter on her way to work, b/c the babysitter won't take him at 5:45 in the morning. Of course my first day back I was late for work. I have never been late for my shift before. There was wreck on I-10. Luckily there was turn a around spot in the construction zone for the construction workers, so when the radio announcer said, "Don't take I-10 because it is closed, the cars in front of me started turning around and I followed right behind him. I finally got to work at 7:10 and I left the house at 5:45. Hopefully Wednesday won't be as dramatic.

Busy Weekend
Sunday was Little Man's first time to church. He started out asleep in his carrier, then he started grunting and trying to wake up during prayer, so John took him out of his car seat and gave him to me. Most 2 month olds sleep during church, not mine! While I was holding him we would grunt, groan, and moan. Of course people would turn around and look at us. Then he stared getting fussy so John went out side with him. After church the Conner clan ewwed and awwed. I was a proud mom. We will try again next Sunday.
This weekend was our official big outing. We started with Saturday by getting Little Man's pictures done at Babie R Us. Then we went to Sports Authority and then to Chili's. I have to learn how to order finger foods from now on, because Little Man doesn't like to sit in his car seat very long if he is awake. His pictures turned out so good, we didn't get many poses because he didn't like laying on their table. I was proud of him, he did a great job on first big outing.

Happy Father's Day
Sunday was John's first Father's Day. Little Man gave him a fish cooker and we cooked a big lunch. It was also little man's 2 month birthday.
Today we went to the doctor and had our first set of shots. He received 3 shots and had to drink a medicine. He handled it well, of course he cried and I teared up, but he didn't take us long to calm back down. He both took a nap when we got home. His weight now is 10 lbs and 8 oz and mearsures at 21 3/4 inches long. We are still in the 10th percentile of the growth chart, but the doctor says everything looks good and to continue with the high calorie formula. We go back to the doctor in 2 months.

Lula's house
Sunday afternoon Little Man and I hung out at Lula's house. Little Man loves his Aunt Kyla and cousin Little Bit. My aunt and uncle went to Orlando last week for vacation and they brought back a HUGE stuffed turtle. It literally takes up half of the living room floor. Little Man loved it and slepted on it for 45 minutes. Later on I layed him down on it while he was a awake and never fussed. Little Bit likes to lay on the big turtle too.

Learning a new trick
Little Man is trying so hard to hold his head up by himself. He can hold it up for about 2 seconds, but hey its a start. He loves tummy time on John's chest and his tummy time mat.
NEWS FLASH: Little Man out grew a new born outfit. Some newborns still fit but others are starting to get too small.
I have to go back to work in 2 weeks, so I am doing little shopping trips to get use to staying away from Little Man. So my mom and I went to the St. Augustine outlet mall Saturday. I did good I didn't get all weepy eyed or anything and I was away for about 5 hours. (John babysat. Luckily Little Man didn't have a dirty diaper while I was gone, because John has never changed a dirty diaper.) Then John and I ran to look at a truck Saturday night while Gran babysat. On the way home it hit me, I missed my baby boy and almost cried when I saw him. Its going to be some long 12 hour days when I go back to work. The good Lord blessed us with a Godly babysitter so at least I know he will be in good hands.

6 weeks old
Today Little Man is 6 weeks old. We are still in newborn diapers and clothes. John tried to measure him last week, we estimated him to be 20 inches long and weighing between 7 and 8 pounds. The boy is getting him some cheeks, or as we say 'jaws.' Its amazing at how time flies. It won't be long before I have to go back to work. Luckily, I only work 3 days a week.
