14 Weeks Old Today

14 Weeks Old


Today Little Man is 14 weeks old. John measured him last night, he estimated 24 1/2 inches long and weighs approximately 14 pounds. I had hoped the scale was wrong but we weighed him twice in 2 different things. I thought he weighed closer to 12 pounds, but Papa John tried to tell me we weighed more, I guess we was right.

Little Man is starting to reach and grasp things. This was the first time that I saw him actually holding on to the horses leg. Most of the time he only bats at it and makes it rattle. At one point he his arm was caught in the strap but he didn't realize if he let go of the horse he wouldn't have been caught.


Time for quick nap.



Little Man loves to play. We caught him smiling and laughing.

Olive Garden

This past week I took Little Man to Lunch with some co-workers. Jennifer is being transferred up north due to her husband being in the Navy. So some of us went out to lunch with her as a farewell. We are going to miss you. Then Sasha (congrats on becoming a new nurse) is getting married this coming up weekend. Best of Luck to both of you for starting new chapters in your lives. Little Man did so good in the restaurant he let me eat my whole meal before he became a little fussy. He did very well in the car, too. Little Man couldn't wait to get home though so he could play and stretch.

13 Weeks Old

Sunday


Like most Sundays we went to church and after church we just laid around and watched movies. Each Sunday we make it a liitle longer in the service.

13 Weeks July 21


Little Man is 13 weeks old today, it also marks 3 months to the day. He is growing so fast. I can't get over how long he is. He is eating from big a bottle at night 6oz and will sleep for 7 to 8 hours (most nights).

12 Weeks Old Today

Shhh...

Time for a nap. I wore him out running errands this morning. Today is also John's Birthday he turns the big 25. We love you.


12 Weeks today


Today marks 12 weeks for Little Man. He is getting so big. His feet hang over the end of the sling in his bathtub. He sat in his bouncey seat long enough for the picture. He has became anti-bouncey seat these days. He likes to lay flat on the floor so he can kick and swing his arms.


Bedtime


This is what Little Man looks like when we are trying to go to bed at 9:30 at night. I gave up trying to rock him to sleep a long time ago, because he goes to sleep when he is ready. He talks his self to sleep every night.


Time for church

This Sunday we went to my parents church (the church I grew up in). I was so proud of him he didn't fuss until the very end. Usually the Methodist are out of church by 12:10, not the Sunday we go, we got out at 12:45. There was a dedication to the preschool lady for retiring after 29 years of service (the reason for the long service). Little Man looked so handsome in his overalls.

This was Little Man's 1st 4th of July. We started at my parents house for a fish fry, then we went to John's aunts house later that afternoon. After Little Man went to bed John and I stood at our bedroom window and watched fireworks.
