18 Weeks Old Today

Today Little Man is 18 weeks old. I can't believe how fast time is going. We love him dearly.

Used to Little Man only wanted to lay down, now he thinks he has to held upright all the time. He also likes to stand upright pushing against me. When we can't make him happy John's puts him in the umbrella stroller and surprisingly he likes it, as you can tell, he fell a sleep.

Time for a family picture.
Road Trip

This weekend Papa John, John Milton, Little Man and I took a road trip to the hunting camp. Its a 3 hour drive one way. There was two reasons for this trip 1st to hang a tree stand and 2nd for Little Man to get used to long car rides. In October we will be driving to Illinois its a 20 hour trip. I thought about flying with the baby but I decided not to, because it will be the peak of flu season, I'm afraid one us will get sick, so we will drive. The baby did good on this trip, lets hope he does just as good in October.

17 Weeks Old
Yesterday marked 17 Weeks for Little Man He was asleep when I got home from work, so I had to take pictures today. I don't know what he was talking about, but he was talking about something.
Like always we went to church on Sunday. I am so bad I take pictures during church, at least I turned the flash off. After church Little Man spent quality time with his dad. When my co- workers look at the pictures of the baby with John they all said "Mini Me"

16 Weeks Old

Today Little Man is 15 Weeks old. His newist trick is to unswaddle himself at night and kick the blanket over his face, so guess what we don't swaddle anymore. He now wears footed PJ or if there are no feet in them he wears socks. This morning he managed to get the socks off. He also cues and aws much more now, along with eating his hands.
Sunday

This Sunday we went to church with my parents again. While John and I are getting ready for church Little Man loves to lay in our bed and play.
Scrubs

This past weekend John's family all went to the scrubs for the weekend. We went just for the day on Friday because I had to work Saturday. We had a little birthday party for John's mom, her birhtday was in May but she wanted to celebrate it in August since all the babies came early. Little Man got to play with gradeseed and his other cousins. It won't be long before he is able to run around with J, A, and E.

Little man is getting better about holding his head up, so I wanted to see how he would do in the bumbo. He only lasted a few minutes before he got mad.

Beach Time
Time to go home.
While everyone is fast asleep, Little Man is laughing and talking after his 5am feeding.
John has a story he tells Little Man and everytime he tells the story he laughs. Little Man had his first kitchen sink bath this weekend.
Chillin' by the pool. The weather was great after it rained. It made it possible to stay outside for more than 2 minutes.
Little Man did good on the ride down to the beach, but John and I were nervous wrecks. Traffic was so backed up we had to take the back roads to get to the beach in the rain. (We just love 2 lane roads in the rain.) Little Man slept the whole time. When got to the condo we had to hurry to unpack because he was getting hungry. As you noticed we don't leave home without his play gym. He gets mad if we lay him down and he his not under his toys.
Time for pictures by the beach. Little Man did so good during picture time, he slept the whole time. He even got sand on his toes.
Time to go to dinner. We walked across the street for dinner after the thunderstorm.
Last weekend we joined my parents at their beach condo in Ormond Beach. We have gone to this place every summer since I was in the 6th grade. The neat part is its the same families that go every year, too. I was the last of the 'kids' to have a baby. It was to hot for Little Man to go outside during the day so he stayed in the room with his dad while laid on the beach. I would go check on them pretty often. Then a bad storm came up so we all had to come inside.
